The dove embracing the taegeuk, the yin-yang symbol, manifests the steadfast determination towards a democratic and peaceful reunification.
The major colors of the symbol are gold and blue. The former reflects pureness and nobility, while the latter represents hope and life. The combination of gold and blue symbolizes the genuine passion, hope and noble aspiration towards a democratic and peaceful reunification.
